September was all about food festivals for Ty Gwyn! And we were chuffed to the core when Henry Chevallier Guild of Aspall cyder favoured our Medium Sweet blue-label cider in a talk he gave at Abergavenny Food Festival.
Autumn is coming! We have been busy preparing for lots of food festivals but now our thoughts are turning to all the apples and pears to be pressed this Autumn. Lots of hard work but an exciting time too!
We’ve just won a Great Taste two-gold-star award for our 2016 Dabinett Medium black-label bottled cider. The Great Taste awards is probably the UK's foremost food and drink competition, so we are absolutely thrilled!
June it was a humdinger of a month for Ty Gwyn! It saw our cider being guzzled by the gallon at numerous festivals and shows, where we made good use of our awesome new wooden cider bar.
Great news! We’ve won a bronze award in the International Cider Challenge hosted by the noted beer and cider expert, Pete Brown.
Ty Gwyn Cider is now available in Scotland courtesy Growler Beers UK in Edinburgh. This is a particularly proud moment for us as my stepfather, who started me out on the path to being a cider maker, was Scottish.
